“In today’s world, where there is an ever-increasing demand and focus on innovative solutions, the need for creative thinking and problem solving is paramount across all industries.” - G

Artlet founder, Georgina McDonald, has worked in education for 20 years across Brisbane and London supporting children, tweens and their families with their social, emotional and behavioural needs and varied levels of trauma.

Her passion lies in ‘being creative’ in all that she does - as an educator, business owner, designer and even as a mum! Knowing, and having witnessed, the benefits art, design and practical learning have on development and wellbeing in both children and adults alike, Georgina continually strives to build programs and workshops that inspire, ignite curiosity, ‘think outside the box’, improve self-worth and encourage all learners to trust in themselves and have fun. And if you make a mistake? Pfft! That’s totally fine because we all do!

“Art and creative learning have the ability to provide an escape, create connection, offer new experiences and overall, shape us positively as humans. The research is everywhere and it proves the incredible neurological, emotional, social, physical benefits Art has on us - so why are we not seeing it increased for our children? As Artlet grows, our aim is to continue providing creative opportunities that enhance and promote social, emotional and mental wellbeing for all ages and keep building a supportive community that our children, tweens and teens feel seen, heard and respected.” - George

See what people are saying about Artlet…

“Both my children (aged 8 & 10) had a wonderfully creative few sessions with Artlet. They loved the choice of activities, the freedom to create and the hands on support and teaching provided. Everyday they came home with their creations and rearing to go for the next project! So much fun and what beautiful, interesting and functional artworks we got at the end of it all - thank you!”

“I absolutely loved it and would do it again! I thought George promoted a supportive and engaging atmosphere and encouraged us all to enjoy the process as much as the product. I really enjoyed that we were able to share in each other's creative process. It was a great idea that To bake our creations at the time.”

— Adult Polymer Clay Party

“An arty outlet is exactly what is needed for our children, tweens and teens. Art, design and craft provide the tools necessary for shaping and strengthening their identities and development.
